TAI PING CARPET (00146) announced its annual results for the year ended June 30, 2025, reporting revenue of approximately HK$659 million, representing a 3% year-on-year increase. Net profit reached HK$43.78 million, up 4% compared to the previous year, with earnings per share of 20.63 HK cents.
The Asia region delivered the strongest revenue growth of 18%, reflecting the successful implementation of the company's strategy to diversify markets beyond residential sectors. The Americas region also performed well with 6% revenue growth. However, the Europe, Middle East and Africa region experienced a 7% revenue decline, impacted by conflicts in neighboring Ukraine and the Middle East.
The company's gross margin for the year was 61%, slightly lower than the previous year's 62%. This decrease was primarily attributed to additional US tariffs, which offset productivity improvements achieved in the company's China manufacturing operations.
