On May 18, at the launch event for JD.com's 2026 618 shopping festival, Eric Qi, head of the platform operations department at JD Retail's platform marketing center, announced that a series of auction activities will be held during the pre-sale and launch period of this year's "JD 618." He revealed that JD.com will host the world’s first humanoid robot auction on May 22.

Additionally, Eric Qi shared that this year's JD 618 promotion will officially begin at 8:00 PM on May 30 and will run until June 21. The period from May 13 to May 29 has been designated as the "Heartbeat Shopping Season."
