Brent crude oil front-month contract on ICE dropped 1.88% on Thursday, settling at $89.03 per barrel

The ICE Brent crude oil September delivery contract fell $1.71 per barrel on Thursday, a decline of 1.88%, closing at $89.03.

This marks the fourth decline in the past five trading sessions. The price is now 24.77% below the 52-week high of $118.35, set on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Compared to the 52-week low of $58.92, recorded on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the contract has risen by 51.10%. It is also 22.75% higher than it was 52 weeks ago.

The settlement price is 24.77% lower than the 2026 settlement high of $118.35, reached on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Conversely, it is 48.48% above the 2026 settlement low of $59.96, set on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

The contract is 39.05% below the all-time high of $146.08, recorded on Thursday, July 3, 2008. Month-to-date, it has gained 22.09%.

Year-to-date, the price has increased by $28.18, representing a 46.31% gain. All prices are calculated based on the settlement price of the current front-month contract.
