According to market insights, GT GOLD (08299) has surged over 5%, reporting a gain of 5.56% at HKD 0.57, with a trading volume of HKD 21.575 million. Recently, GT GOLD announced that it submitted an application for transfer to the Main Board to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on October 10, 2025 (post trading hours) in accordance with Main Board Listing Rule Chapter 9B. This transfer will not involve the issuance of any new shares by the company. The announcement highlighted that the group has maintained robust financial performance, business growth, and expansion in recent years. The board believes that the transfer to the Main Board will effectively enhance the company's corporate image and public recognition through a larger market capitalization, higher trading volume, and significantly increased international recognition. It is understood that GT GOLD's primary gold mine is the Taizhou Gold Mine project located in Tongguan County, Shaanxi Province, which is renowned as the "Thousand-Year Gold Mine" in the Little Qinling region. Previously, the company announced plans to place a maximum of 1.039 billion new shares at a price of HKD 0.275 per share, representing 13.98% of the existing issued shares. Upon completion of the placement, the net funds raised are expected to be approximately HKD 274 million. According to reports, the funds from this refinancing will be allocated in three major directions: approximately 70% reserved for future mergers and acquisitions, about 5% for deep resource exploration and research in collaboration with universities and leading exploration companies in Shaanxi Province in the Little Qinling area, including AI mining partnerships, with the remaining approximately 25% designated for working capital replenishment.
