Shares of 51WORLD (06651) surged more than 9% intraday, and as of the time of writing, were up 7.53% to HK$70.7, with turnover reaching HK$261 million.

On the news front, the mandatory national standard "Safety Requirements for Intelligent Connected Vehicles - Autonomous Driving Systems," developed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, has been officially approved and will be fully implemented on July 1 next year. This marks the establishment of a unified "entry threshold" for China's L3 and L4 autonomous driving. Notably, the mandatory standard has established simulation testing as a hard prerequisite for L3 access, which is expected to open up long-term growth space for the simulation track, and 51WORLD, with its industry-leading simulation technology and unique positioning across the entire industry chain, is poised to fully benefit.

It is understood that the company's core 51Sim platform integrates the SimOne simulation system, DataOne data closed-loop, and other full product suites, holding a 53.5% market share in the domestic end-to-end high-level autonomous driving simulation and data platform field, firmly ranking first in the industry. Its 51Sim simulation platform, SimOne 4.0, has completed deep technical adaptation with NVIDIA Cosmos 3 and Alpamayo, and its self-developed 51WORLD MODEL world model is interoperable with the Cosmos 3 underlying architecture, making it NVIDIA's Chinese partner in the Cosmos in-vehicle simulation ecosystem.
