Far East Orchard Limited said on Feb, 27 2026 that it has incorporated a new wholly-owned subsidiary in the United Kingdom and increased its stake in student-housing operator Homes for Students Limited.

The new unit, Far East Orchard UK Management Limited, was set up with issued and paid-up capital of £2.00 and will serve as a head-office entity for the group’s activities in the United Kingdom.

Separately, the group’s wholly-owned subsidiary Far East Student Housing Pte. Ltd. completed the purchase of an additional 35% interest in Homes for Students Limited on Sep, 30 2025 for about 43.3 million Singapore dollars, raising its holding from 49% to 84%. The price was agreed on an arm’s-length basis and settled in cash funded by internal resources and borrowings. The unaudited net asset value of the acquired stake was £3.7 million as of Sep, 30 2025.

With the transaction, Homes for Students Limited and its subsidiaries—Universal Student Living Limited, BTR PRS Ltd, Resi Software Solution Limited and Orla Living Limited—have become subsidiaries of Far East Orchard.
