BOSS ENERGY LTD (BOE.AU) saw its stock plummet 5.21% during intraday trading on Thursday. The sharp decline followed the company's quarterly operational update.

The uranium producer reported lower fiscal third-quarter production from its Honeymoon project in South Australia, with output of 203,000 pounds of uranium oxide. More significantly, the company reduced its full-year production guidance for FY26 to a range of 1.40-1.45 million pounds.

Operational costs also showed deterioration, with the C1 cost for the quarter reported at A$60 per pound, substantially higher than the A$33 per pound reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. While the company reconfirmed its full-year cost guidance, it noted that both C1 and all-in sustaining costs would be toward the upper end of their respective ranges.
