Far East Hospitality Trust held its 14th annual general meeting on Apr, 20 2026. Stapled securityholders approved all four ordinary resolutions by poll, including the adoption of the FY 2025 financial statements (99.95% in favour), the re-appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as auditor, a general mandate to issue new stapled securities, and the renewal of a 2 per cent stapled security buy-back mandate.
For FY 2025, gross revenue rose 2.5 per cent year on year to 111.4 million Singapore dollars, driven by the maiden contribution from Four Points by Sheraton Nagoya and stronger commercial income. Net property income decreased 2.8 per cent to 96.6 million Singapore dollars, while income available for distribution increased 1.9 per cent to 67.9 million Singapore dollars. Core distribution per stapled security grew 2.2 per cent to 3.31 cents; total distribution per stapled security was 3.70 cents.
The trust ended 2025 with aggregate leverage of 33.0 per cent, an average cost of debt of 3.1 per cent and 53.5 per cent of its borrowings on fixed rates.
During the meeting, the manager reiterated its strategy of asset enhancement in Singapore and selective overseas expansion, citing the April 2025 acquisition of the 319-room Four Points by Sheraton Nagoya for 52.8 million Singapore dollars. The trust’s portfolio now comprises 3,334 hotel rooms and serviced-residence units across 13 properties valued at 2.56 billion Singapore dollars.
