GAC GROUP announced the launch of its 2026 AION S Battery Subscription Edition on August 19th. The vehicle features battery swapping capabilities, offers a CLTC driving range of 503 kilometers, and is priced at 139,800 yuan. The model appears to be positioned for the ride-hailing market, though official images of this specific version have not yet been released.

The vehicle continues the family's signature "Arrow Through Clouds" exterior design language, featuring a closed-off front grille and traditional-style door handles. It comes equipped with 17-inch wheels and floating taillights at the rear.

Interior features include a 3.5-inch LCD instrument cluster paired with an 8-inch central control screen. The vehicle is equipped with tire pressure monitoring, parking radar, backup camera, cruise control, automatic parking brake, headlight height adjustment, and automatic air conditioning.

In terms of specifications, the vehicle measures 4,805mm in length, 1,880mm in width, and 1,545mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750mm, positioning it in the compact car segment. It is powered by an electric motor with a maximum output of 100 kilowatts, paired with a 54 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, delivering a CLTC driving range of 503 kilometers and supporting battery swapping functionality.
