Xiaomi Group (01810) Partner and President Lu Weibing revealed during an earnings call on March 24 that Xiaomi Miclaw represents a significant breakthrough for the company in the era of AI agents and is a crucial step in integrating AI across Xiaomi's human-vehicle-home ecosystem. Miclaw has recently added support for models such as the Xiaomi 15S Pro and the Redmi K90 series, with plans to extend compatibility to more devices, including personal computers and smartwatches. Lu also expressed his opposition to the conceptualization of "AI phones," emphasizing that a true AI phone must bring about a substantial transformation in human-computer interaction. He stated that Miclaw will be fully integrated with Xiaomi's HyperOS and the broader ecosystem of human-vehicle-home devices. It is understood that Xiaomi Miclaw is the first "phone lobster" launched domestically, aimed at exploring the path for AI models to evolve from conversational capabilities to system-level execution abilities.
