ZJLD Sets 2030 Climate Roadmap After Meeting All 2025 ESG Targets

ZJLD Group released its 2025 ESG Report, confirming full delivery of the five environmental and social targets it set in 2022 and unveiling a more ambitious 2030 agenda.

Key 2025 results • Scope 1+2 carbon-emission intensity fell to 1.89 tCO₂e per tonne of base liquor, down 62% from the 2021 baseline, while absolute Scope 1 emissions were 102,368 tCO₂e and Scope 3 emissions 893,416 tCO₂e. • Electricity consumption reached 27.17 million kWh, sourced 100% from renewables through on-site photovoltaics and green-power purchases. • Water-withdrawal intensity dropped 65% versus 2021 to 40.81 t per tonne; recycled water totalled 386,466 t, giving a 14.87% reuse rate. • Eco-friendly materials accounted for 99.14% of the 39,739 t of packaging used; bottle-recycling pilots collected 17,025 bottles. • Rural employment rose 59% and agricultural-product procurement tripled from the 2021 base.

2030 ESG strategic plan • “2850” dual-carbon target—Group-level carbon peak by 2028 and carbon neutrality by 2050. • Minimum 25% plant-wide circulating-water utilisation and 100% broadly recyclable packaging for all core products. • All suppliers to meet labour-rights and environmental criteria; 100% of contracted farmers to complete sustainable-agriculture training. • Internal promotion rate to reach at least 75%.

Operational footprint • Wastewater discharge: 842,351 t (15.54 t per tonne of base liquor). • Solid-waste generation: 188,873 t, with 99.7% diverted from landfill. • No product recalls or safety-related complaints recorded; customer-service satisfaction held at 100%.

Social contribution • Charitable spending totalled RMB 14.52 million, and employees logged 37,249 volunteer hours. • Employee base stood at 10,365, with women holding 19.02% of management posts; average training hours reached 51.

External recognition ZJLD secured an “AAA” ESG rating from Wind, a 66-point S&P CSA score (included in the 2026 global yearbook) and an “A-” water-security rating from CDP.

Management signalled that capital expenditure in photovoltaic expansion, low-carbon brewing technology and rural-sourcing programmes will underpin delivery of the 2030 roadmap.
