Ralph Lauren released its fourth-quarter and full-year results for fiscal year 2026 on May 21, with performance exceeding market expectations across the board. The company also provided an initial outlook for fiscal year 2027, anticipating mid-single-digit revenue growth on a constant currency basis and continued improvement in operating margin.

According to the financial report, Ralph Lauren's fourth-quarter revenue reached $1.98 billion, an increase of approximately 17% year-over-year, surpassing analyst expectations of $1.85 billion. Adjusted earnings per share were $2.80, also exceeding the market consensus of $2.54. The strong performance was primarily driven by the Asian market, where fourth-quarter revenue surged by 31%, with particularly notable performance in the Chinese market during the Lunar New Year period. Full-year revenue surpassed the $8 billion mark for the first time, reaching $8.11 billion.

Looking ahead to fiscal year 2027, the company expects revenue on a constant currency basis to grow by 4% to 5%. The operating margin is projected to expand by 40 to 60 basis points, primarily due to a moderate improvement in gross margin and effective control of operating expenses. For the first fiscal quarter, the company anticipates revenue growth in the mid-to-high single digits, with an operating margin expansion of 80 to 120 basis points.

CEO Patrice Louvet stated that the company has made strong progress in the first year of its "Next Great Chapter: Drive" strategic plan, with the brand's global resonance and consumer loyalty translating into healthy, sustainable growth.
