Xiaomi's automotive division has officially announced the introduction of a new sub-brand named SkyNomad. The brand was introduced with the tagline, "SkyNomad. Sky, Nomad. A new name about space and life, saying hello to everyone first."

Previous media reports had indicated that Xiaomi's first extended-range SUV model would be launched under a new, independent sub-brand called "SkyNomad." This vehicle will not carry the primary Xiaomi brand logo and is scheduled for an official release in the second half of 2026.
