In the early hours between two and three a.m., the central kitchen and agricultural product processing and distribution center in Mazui Village, Shizhu Town, Yaozhou District, remains brightly lit. Over 40 workers are busily and systematically engaged in sorting, packaging, and labeling, ensuring each product is reliable and traceable. This scene vividly illustrates the thriving development of the village's collective economy.

Since 2010, Mazui Village has vigorously developed facility agriculture. To date, the village boasts 142 greenhouses where villagers meticulously cultivate fruits and vegetables like cherries, strawberries, tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes, leading to prosperous livelihoods. To further strengthen the collective economy and address villagers' concerns in greenhouse cultivation, Mazui Village innovatively established Shaanxi Mazui Youxian Fresh Supply Chain Co., Ltd. in 2023, adopting a model led by the village collective with market-oriented operations. The company has built an integrated "platform + service" model and, through a "company + farmers + market" operational approach, deeply collaborates with Mazui Village's modern agricultural industrial park and production base, successfully enabling online ordering and offline delivery for over 1,300 types of agricultural products. By 2025, the company's sales reached over 18 million yuan, directly employing 53 people from the village and surrounding areas, and indirectly supporting sustained income growth for more than 100 households, continuously injecting strong momentum into the collective economy. Furthermore, Mazui Village's fruits and vegetables have become a trusted, well-known local brand in Tongchuan, solidifying the industry as a reliable pillar for collective income and individual prosperity.

As the Spring Festival approaches, the "fish-fruit symbiosis" project at Taichu Nayuan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. in Liujianian Village, Yunmeng Township, Yijun County, sees its farmed sea bass entering peak sales season. Aquatic product dealers from Wangyi District and Yintai District have already placed advance orders for the holiday period. Dealer Zhao Kaifang noted, "Last year, the sea bass from here was tender and firm, receiving high praise. Regular customers often ask when last year's batch will be available again." This year, the company cultivated over 20,000 high-quality sea bass. Since the start of the lunar year, significant sales have been achieved through retail and wholesale channels. General Manager Wang Wenhao stated, "We expect to sell out entirely around the Lantern Festival." While speaking, a local villager arrived on a motorcycle to purchase fish. The company offers a preferential price of 15 yuan per fish to local residents, allowing them to tangibly benefit from industrial development. The company's contributions extend further: its nearly 800 acres of orchards and nurseries require labor year-round, providing over 5,000 employment opportunities annually with total labor costs exceeding one million yuan. Most workers are local or from nearby villages, securing stable incomes close to home. A villager happily shared, "Having the company here is wonderful. We have steady year-round income and hope it continues to grow."

Industrial revitalization forms the foundation and key to rural revitalization. Under the guidance of people-enriching industries, not only are residents gainfully employed, but industrial scale and strong brand effects have also been achieved.

Recently, fruit companies in the city have seen a surge in orders. At Lvling Fruit Industry Co., Ltd. in Shizhu Village, Shizhu Town, Yaozhou District, daily sales of apple gift boxes exceed 2,000 units, approximately 15 tons, through online and offline channels. General Manager Wang Yanlin explained that over the years, the company has implemented a unified management model covering supplies, technical services, fruit procurement, and branding. Their "Laojiu" brand apples have become a specified purchase for merchants from Guizhou and Yunnan, encouraging local farmers to adopt new varieties and achieve scaled planting. Villagers in Shizhu and surrounding areas engage in seasonal tasks: thinning flowers and fruit and bagging in spring, weeding and irrigating in summer, removing bags and harvesting in autumn, and sorting and packaging apples in winter. Driven by Lvling Fruit Industry, many nearby villagers have found employment. Zhang Yanli from Shengyin Village, who works long-term at the company, said, "I no longer need to seek work in other provinces. I can care for my family daily, leading a stable and happy life."

The steady development of agricultural industries has stabilized employment and broadened farmers' income channels, sustaining growth in rural earnings. In 2025, the per capita disposable income of rural residents in the city reached 16,069 yuan, a 6.2% year-on-year increase, ranking second in the province. Simultaneously, the added value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery hit 4.142 billion yuan, up 4% year-on-year, also ranking second provincially. The city's agricultural and rural sectors are advancing with high quality and efficiency, injecting continuous momentum into rural revitalization.
