Shares of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd (HKEX: 09988) surged more than 5% during the trading session. At the time of writing, the stock was up 5.21% to HK$129.1, with a turnover of HK$4.274 billion.
The increase follows the official launch of Qwen3.7-Plus, a new multimodal model from Alibaba's AI division, Qwen. The model was released on June 2nd.
Qwen3.7-Plus unifies vision and language into a single intelligent agent foundation. Building upon the strong text capabilities of the Qwen3.7 model, the Plus version offers a comprehensive upgrade in visual-language abilities. It also maintains full agent capabilities in areas such as coding, tool usage, and productivity workflows.
The Hybrid-Agent system, built on Qwen3.7-Plus, deeply integrates the code generation power of large language models with GUI automation. This integration has enabled the complete end-to-end development of an application, from requirement analysis to version iteration.
In a demonstration, an agent ran continuously and stably for over 11 hours. It autonomously completed the full research and development cycle for an English vocabulary learning application. The process generated over 10,000 lines of code and triggered more than 1,000 agent calls.
This automation covered core stages of the software development lifecycle, including generating requirement documents, automatic code writing, automated installation and deployment, creating test cases, GUI automated testing, parallel multi-scenario testing, automatic updating of product documentation, and automated version iteration and evolution.
