New Listing Update: Shenzhen Transsion Holdings Gains Chinese Regulatory Nod for Hong Kong IPO

Shenzhen Transsion Holdings Co., Ltd. (688036.SH) has received a key approval from Chinese regulators for its proposed initial public offering in Hong Kong. On August 14, the International Cooperation Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) issued a notice of filing for the company's overseas listing.

According to the filing, the company plans to issue up to 132,386,200 ordinary shares for listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Shenzhen Transsion Holdings Co., Ltd. is a provider of smart terminal products and mobile internet services, with its core business focused on the design, research and development, production, sales, and brand management of smartphone-centric smart devices. The company has leveraged its mobile phone business to build brand recognition among a broad and growing user base, which has allowed it to expand into mobile internet services, as well as IoT products and other offerings, creating an ecosystem of products, services, and brands.

Currently, the company operates five production bases in Chongqing, Shenzhen, and Nanchang, as well as in Bangladesh and Ethiopia. The capacity utilization rates for smartphone production at these five bases were 90.7% in 2023, 80.8% in 2024, and 82.3% in 2025.
