ASMPT (ASX: 00522) has announced the completion of the sale of its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, ASMPT NEXX, Inc..

The transaction, which was executed under a share purchase agreement with Applied Materials, Inc. for the sale of all issued ordinary shares of ASMPT NEXX, Inc. held by ASMPT USA Holding, Inc., was finalized on June 3.

Following the completion of the sale, ASMPT NEXX, Inc. is no longer a subsidiary of the company, and its financial results will no longer be consolidated into the group's financial statements.
