BOSS ENERGY LTD (BOE.AU) shares plummeted 5.52% during intraday trading on Thursday.
The decline occurred despite the company releasing positive updates regarding mineral resource estimates at its Gould's Dam and Jason's Deposit satellite uranium deposits. Boss Energy reported a 30% increase in contained uranium at Gould's Dam and a 9% increase at Jason's Deposit, with development pathways for both projects advancing.
However, a broader market selloff overshadowed these favorable company-specific announcements, driving the stock price lower. The company indicated that regulatory approval processes for mining these deposits are expected to take 18 to 24 months, meaning production contributions remain some time away.
