Pop Mart International Group Limited announced the on-market repurchase of 3.94 million ordinary shares on 26 March 2026, spending HKD 599.71 million. The transaction was conducted on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange within a price range of HKD 148.40 to HKD 157.80 per share, translating to a volume-weighted average price of HKD 152.21.
The repurchased shares represent 0.29% of Pop Mart’s 1.34 billion issued shares (excluding treasury shares) prior to the transaction. All shares bought back are earmarked for cancellation; however, the issued share count remains unchanged at 1.34 billion until cancellation is completed.
The buyback falls under the mandate approved on 27 May 2025, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 134.29 million shares. Including the latest transaction, Pop Mart has repurchased 5.84 million shares under this mandate, equivalent to 0.43% of the share capital outstanding on the mandate’s adoption date.
Under Hong Kong Listing Rules, Pop Mart is restricted from issuing new shares for 30 days following the repurchase, setting a moratorium through 25 April 2026.
The company confirmed that the repurchase complied with all relevant regulatory requirements and that no treasury shares were held after the transaction.
