Singamas Issues Profit Warning: Interim Earnings to Fall Over 55% to No More Than US$6.00 Million

07/31

Singamas Container Holdings Limited released a profit warning indicating that consolidated profit attributable to owners for the six months ended 30 June 2026 is expected to be no higher than US$6.00 million. This represents a potential decline of roughly 55.2% from the US$13.40 million recorded in the corresponding period of 2025.

The Board attributes the anticipated earnings contraction to three factors: 1. Sustained pressure on the average selling price of dry freight containers amid intensified market competition. 2. Revenue dilution linked to the Group’s ongoing business transformation. 3. Higher administrative expenses arising from matters disclosed in company announcements dated 30 April 2026 and 20 May 2026.

Management emphasised that the figures are based on unaudited consolidated management accounts and may be subject to adjustments. The formal interim results are scheduled for release in August 2026.

The company advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its securities.
