Pioneer Global Group Limited (Stock Code: 00224) published a circular regarding the proposed appointment of Baker Tilly Hong Kong Limited as its new auditor. According to the announcement, CHENG & CHENG Limited resigned as auditor following a disagreement over a substantial fee increase, despite no material change in the company’s business.

The board, with the recommendation of the audit committee, has resolved to recommend that Baker Tilly be appointed to fill the vacancy until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting in 2026. Shareholders are scheduled to vote on this proposal at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on 25 November 2025, at 11:00 a.m., to be held on the 18th Floor of 68 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.

In connection with the EGM, the register of members will be closed from 20 November 2025 to 25 November 2025 (both days inclusive). Shareholders are required to lodge all transfer documents and relevant certificates by 4:30 p.m. on 19 November 2025 for the purpose of attending and voting. The board has stated that this proposed appointment of Baker Tilly is in the best interests of both the company and its shareholders.
