MetaOptics Ltd (Catalist: 9MT) on Dec, 17 2025 released its 2025 year-end business review, highlighting a placement of new shares that will raise an aggregate 4.85 million Singapore dollars, first announced on Dec, 1 2025. The company said the proceeds will be used to meet expected customer purchase orders and for general working-capital purposes.

The update outlined continued collaboration with institutional investors and strategic partners in deep-technology and semiconductor sectors. MetaOptics signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with a major camera-module maker to produce metalens-based optical modules and entered a design agreement with another customer to develop a precision projector metalens.

During 2025, the group incorporated a U.S. subsidiary in Oct, 2025 and rented office space at NUS Block 71 in San Mateo, California, to strengthen engagement with semiconductor and smart-device companies. The company also said it is collaborating with two U.S. universities on computational and tunable metalens projects aimed at potential product launches from 2027.

MetaOptics reiterated its intention to pursue a dual listing on the NASDAQ Stock Market and said it would provide further updates on material developments.

The firm expects strong bookings for 2026, noting that sales of metalens equipment, metalenses and modules in 2025 have exceeded 2024 levels. Second-generation products—such as rectangular metalenses, metalens-module assembly tools and 5G smart-device solutions—are scheduled to debut at CES 2026, including at the Pepcom Premiere event.

Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Thng Chong Kim conveyed appreciation to shareholders, investors and partners, and expressed optimism for the company’s progress in 2026.
