Hainan Meilan International Airport Company Limited (Meilan Airport) announced a second postponement in publishing its shareholder circular related to the Framework Agreements and Non-exempt Continuing Connected Transactions.

The company had previously planned to distribute the document by 28 April 2026, following the initial delay disclosed on 27 March 2026. Management now expects despatch on or before 20 May 2026, citing the need for additional time to complete key information, including the Independent Financial Adviser’s letter of advice.

The forthcoming circular will contain: 1. Expanded disclosures on the Non-exempt Continuing Connected Transactions. 2. The Independent Financial Adviser’s recommendations to both the Independent Board Committee and independent shareholders. 3. The Independent Board Committee’s views. 4. Notice convening the extraordinary general meeting (EGM).

Chairman Wang Hong signed the announcement dated 28 April 2026. The board currently comprises three executive directors, three non-executive directors, and four independent non-executive directors.

No revised timetable for the EGM was provided; the company indicated only that the circular will be issued on or before the new 20 May 2026 deadline.
