Yeebo (International Holdings) Limited (Yeebo) disclosed that Suzhou QingYue, an associate in which the Group holds a minority stake, has received a preliminary penalty notice from the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). The regulator alleges Suzhou QingYue overstated net profits by RMB10.70 million in 2021, RMB45.40 million in 2022 and RMB47.50 million during the first half of 2023, leading to a proposed fine of RMB172.90 million.

As of 30 September 2025, Yeebo’s investment in Suzhou QingYue was carried at approximately HK$294.00 million, equal to about 5.20 % of total assets and 6.00 % of net assets. Management stated that any potential impairment on this investment would not materially affect group cash flow.

In response to the incident, Yeebo’s board has begun reducing involvement in Suzhou QingYue: Executive Director Mr Leung Tze Kuen resigned from Suzhou QingYue’s board effective 31 March 2026, leaving Yeebo without board representation or operational influence at the investee.

Suzhou QingYue cautioned that a serious breach finding under SSE STAR Market rules could lead to share delisting. Yeebo reiterated that neither its directors nor employees were involved in Suzhou QingYue’s daily operations or the alleged misconduct.

The company advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in Yeebo shares.
