SoftBank Group Corp. is set to convene with investors in New York next week to assess market interest in a potential dollar-denominated high-yield bond offering. The investment firm, led by billionaire Masayoshi Son, continues its aggressive borrowing strategy to fund substantial investments in artificial intelligence.

According to a source familiar with the matter, SoftBank's Chief Financial Officer Yoshimitsu Goto and other senior executives are scheduled to meet with investors from September 14-17 at Citigroup's offices. The source, who requested anonymity as the discussions are private, indicated that Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley are facilitating introductions between SoftBank and investors eligible to purchase securities under U.S. Rule 144A.

These meetings are not directly tied to any specific bond issuance at this time.
