Stocks jumped Friday, as yields retreated following a surprisingly weak jobs report that raised hopes the Federal Reserve will hold rates steady in October.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.63%. The S&P 500 gained 0.86%, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.22%.
Tesla gained over 3% as its third-quarter deliveries beat expectations.
STX plunged more than 15% in early trading, while WDC fell more than 10%.
