According to trade sources, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is offering spot crude through a tender, marking its eighth such sale since the start of June. The state-owned UAE energy firm is actively working to move its crude oil cargoes through the Strait of Hormuz.

On Monday, ADNOC issued a tender for Upper Zakum, Umm Lulu, and Das crude grades, with loading scheduled for October and November. The bid deadline is set for August 13, with offers remaining valid until August 14. All three crude grades are produced from offshore fields and exported via the Strait of Hormuz.

Sources indicated that this latest tender from ADNOC does not include Murban crude. Consistent with previous tender terms, buyers have the option to take delivery on a free-on-board (FOB) basis at storage facilities in Fujairah, or at Zirku Island or Das Island. Alternatively, buyers can also conduct ship-to-ship (STS) transfers in the Fujairah-Sohar sea area or in Malaysian waters.
