According to recent reports, XPeng Group recently convened a mass production mobilization meeting for its robotics division. Nearly a thousand employees from various departments, including automotive, power, manufacturing, testing, and general intelligence, attended the event. Key executives present included CEO He Xiaopeng, Vice President Gu Jie, and LC Mi, head of the robotics center. The mobilization meeting signifies that XPeng's robotics business has officially entered the final sprint toward mass production.

At the meeting, He Xiaopeng outlined critical milestones: achieving mass production of humanoid robots by the end of 2026, with plans for them to serve as shopping assistants in XPeng's offline stores by the first quarter of 2027. He emphasized that XPeng's robots are fully developed in-house, from chips and operating systems to joints and dexterous hands, positioning the company as the only domestic robotics firm with full-stack proprietary technology. He noted that the substantial initial investment will result in higher quality, more aesthetically pleasing designs, and more comprehensive capabilities.

He Xiaopeng stated, "Our current stage is comparable to that of XPeng's automotive division eight years ago." At that time, XPeng had just completed the launch and mass production delivery of its first vehicle, the G3. Today, the robotics team is following a similar trajectory.

Regarding production capacity, XPeng's humanoid robot mass production base commenced construction in February of this year in Guangzhou's Tianhe District, within the Guangtang Science and Innovation City. The facility spans approximately 110,000 square meters and is designed to support full-chain, large-scale production.
