The Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Administration has announced the results of its 2025 provincial-level quality inspection for wire and cable products. A total of 554 batches of wire and cable products were inspected in the first batch of 2025, including 307 batches from production sites, 227 batches from sales channels, and 20 batches from online sales.

The inspection was conducted according to multiple national and industry standards, covering various testing items such as origin marking, cable identification, conductor resistance, insulation thickness, flame retardancy, and mechanical performance before and after aging.

The inspection identified 7 batches of products from 7 manufacturers and 40 batches from 36 sellers that failed to meet the required standards. The non-compliant manufacturers include Laizhou Yongsheng Wire Factory, Yantai Cable Factory Co., Ltd., Qilu Dadi Technology Co., Ltd., and others. Some manufacturers disputed the results and requested re-inspection, which confirmed the initial findings.

The Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Administration has instructed relevant authorities to handle the non-compliant products in accordance with product quality laws and regulations.
