The 110 kV transmission line project from Jadengyu to Terekhti Township in Altay Prefecture, Xinjiang, has successfully completed commissioning and grid connection acceptance, with commercial operation scheduled to officially commence on September 15. This key energy infrastructure initiative forms a vital component of the region's comprehensive power grid expansion strategy, designed to accommodate the burgeoning tourism industry and ensure reliable electricity supply for local communities.

Once fully operational, the project is expected to inject sustained and robust power capacity into the region, thereby supporting continued socioeconomic development and enhancing the quality of life for residents. The newly constructed 110 kV Jadengyu-Terekhti transmission line, photographed on September 8, exemplifies the scale of this undertaking, with personnel conducting final acceptance inspections on the completed infrastructure on the same day.

The construction zone is situated deep within the Altai Mountains, characterized by challenging terrain, significant diurnal temperature fluctuations, and unpredictable weather patterns. Additionally, portions of the route traverse scenic areas and ecological protection zones, imposing stringent environmental compliance requirements and elevating construction complexity. The project team has steadfastly adhered to rigorous safety and green construction standards, implementing comprehensive ecological preservation measures to minimize the project's footprint on the natural environment.

On July 17, construction crews utilized pole-mounted assembly techniques for tower erection, as documented in aerial drone footage. Subsequently, on August 2, tower assembly shifted to crane-based methods on flatter sections of the route. The ongoing development of the 110 kV Terekhti substation was captured on August 11, while workers were seen stringing conductors across towers on August 25 and installing fittings on August 27. Final acceptance checks on the completed lines were conducted on September 8, with drone photography also capturing the harmonious coexistence of the transmission infrastructure with the region's summer pasture landscapes that day.
