The Bank of East Asia, Limited (BEA, stock code: 00023) announced the full redemption of its US$500.00 million Non-Preferred Loss Absorbing Notes due 2027 (bond code: 4544) on 13 March 2026. The notes were issued under BEA’s US$6.00 billion Medium Term Note Programme.

The redeemed notes have been cancelled, leaving no outstanding balance. BEA has applied to The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited to withdraw the listing of the cancelled notes; the delisting is expected to take effect after market close on 24 March 2026.

The redemption follows the notice issued on 11 February 2026. The board composition remains unchanged as of the date of the announcement.
