The Israeli Defense Forces announced on Sunday that it launched strikes against Hezbollah militants and infrastructure in southern Lebanon, responding to two explosive drones fired by Hezbollah at soldiers in the security zone the previous day.
During the airstrikes, the IDF targeted weapons storage facilities and buildings that Hezbollah operatives used for planning and directing attacks within the security zone. Additionally, the military struck a Hezbollah command center located inside a building in southern Lebanon that formerly served as a hospital.
In recent weeks, Hezbollah fighters involved in shelling and reconnaissance activities have been observed operating from this command center.
