The company announced that, following a notice from Ponte 16 Property Development and referencing SJM Holdings' voluntary announcement after the trading session on November 20, 2025, SJM Resorts and Ponte 16 Entertainment have mutually agreed to terminate their service agreement effective November 29, 2025. As a result, Ponte 16 Entertainment will cease providing casino management services to SJM Resorts at Ponte 16 Casino, which will also halt operations on the termination date. Consequently, SJM's proposed acquisition of Ponte 16 Casino will not proceed.

Despite the closure of Ponte 16 Casino, the group will continue its tourism-related and property investment businesses, maintaining its investment in the Ponte 16 project. The group's share of profits from its associated companies related to Ponte 16 amounted to approximately HKD 48.5 million for the six months ended June 30 this year and HKD 112 million for the year ended December 31, 2024. The carrying value of the group's interests in these associated companies was about HKD 814 million as of June 30 this year, compared to HKD 766 million as of December 31 last year.

Based on a preliminary assessment by the board using currently available information, the board expects the group's share of profits from these associated companies to decline significantly from the termination date.
