Zhejiang Leapmotor Technology Co., Ltd. published its fourth Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, covering the period 1 Jan–31 Dec 2025 and approved by the Board on 29 Apr 2026. The disclosure follows HKEX Appendix C2, GRI Standards and ISO 14001/45001 frameworks.
Governance & Strategy • The Board is the highest ESG authority, supported by a Nomination & ESG Committee and an execution taskforce; directors’ remuneration is partly tied to environmental, quality and safety targets. • A double-materiality assessment identified 20 priority topics, led by product quality, customer data security and climate action. • MSCI and Wind both rate Leapmotor “AA”; EcoVadis awarded a Silver Medal.
Operational & Innovation Highlights • Cumulative vehicle sales approached 600,000 units, up 103 % year-on-year. • R&D expenditure rose 47.9 %, with 835 new patents granted (total patents: 3,206). • Zero product recalls and zero major safety incidents recorded; service Net Promoter Score reached 47 (-up 74 % sequentially).
Environmental Performance • Scope 1 emissions: 19,813 tCO₂e; Scope 2 emissions: 93,806 tCO₂e; total 113,619 tCO₂e. GHG intensity fell to 0.02 tCO₂e per RMB 10,000 revenue. • Per-vehicle energy consumption cut 13.17 % and water use down 58 % versus 2022. • Installed rooftop photovoltaic capacity reached 43.5 MW, generating 46.72 million kWh and avoiding 27,141.8 tCO₂e; an additional 15.4 MW was added during 2025. • Hazardous waste volume fell 30 % from 2022 levels. All production sites maintained 100 % compliance, with no environmental penalties.
Social Indicators • Headcount rose to 28,785; women represent 16 % of employees and hold 27.3 % of senior executive roles. • Employees completed 801,548 training hours (27.85 hours per capita); 100 % received career or skills development. • Zero occupational diseases, zero work-fatalities and a lost-time injury frequency rate of 0.71. • 2,641 ethnic minority staff and 207 employees with disabilities are on payroll; no cases of child or forced labour reported.
Responsible Supply Chain • Direct production supply base totals 572 entities; 100 % hold ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 certification and have signed integrity agreements. • 100 % of new suppliers underwent ESG screening; supplier quality training covered 1,319 participants (1,588 hours).
Compliance & Information Security • No violations related to money-laundering, insider trading, monopoly or unfair competition; no data-privacy breaches. • IS0/IEC 27001 and ISO 27701 certified; 58 information-security training sessions delivered, covering all employees.
