In July, Nantong Airport achieved impressive results, setting two new records since its opening.

Passenger throughput for the month reached 447,780, a 10.49% increase year-on-year, marking the highest monthly total since the airport's launch. On July 31, daily passenger throughput hit 17,293, setting another all-time single-day record.

Since the start of the summer travel season, Nantong Airport has focused on meeting public travel needs and supporting regional economic development. It has seized market opportunities by actively optimizing its route network, launching or increasing flights to Beijing, Guiyang, Guilin, Urumqi, Hohhot, Hailar, and Seoul, South Korea, to build efficient and convenient air connections.

In July, daily passenger flow exceeded 15,000 on 15 days, mainly concentrated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. It surpassed 16,000 on seven days. Popular summer destinations include Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Guiyang, Dalian, Chongqing, Xi'an, Kunming, and Beijing, with the resumed Seoul route also proving popular among travelers.

From January to July this year, Nantong Airport handled a cumulative passenger throughput of 2.5327 million, up 5.02% year-on-year.
