Golden autumn brings refreshing breezes and abundant fruits. Currently in the critical period of autumn production, the county is closely following the agricultural calendar, implementing precise measures, and coordinating the key tasks of autumn harvesting, autumn planting, and autumn management. Seizing the favorable sunny weather, the county is steadily advancing the mechanized harvesting of autumn crops such as soybeans and corn. The county's autumn harvest production is proceeding in an orderly manner with steadily accelerating progress, presenting a scene of bountiful harvests and grain returning to storage across the fields.

In the soybean fields of various townships, the continuous soybean plants have yellowed leaves, full pods, plump seeds, and uniform maturity, having fully entered the concentrated harvest period. Large combine harvesters shuttle back and forth in the fields, performing integrated and efficient operations of cutting, threshing, cleaning, and straw returning to the field. The entire process is standardized and smooth, greatly saving manpower and material resources while improving the quality and efficiency of autumn harvest operations. Farmers are seizing the sunny weather to promptly dry and store grain, making every effort to reduce grain loss and transform the promise of a good harvest into actual harvested grain.

In the county's main corn production areas, the autumn harvest scene is equally bustling. The contiguous corn crops are growing impressively with large ears and full kernels, and mechanized harvesting is being carried out efficiently, with grain transport vehicles shuttling back and forth for timely transfer. Fully mechanized and large-scale operations continue to accelerate the autumn grain harvest progress, ensuring that all autumn grain is harvested and a bountiful harvest is secured. Many large-scale growers have stated that this year's field management was in place and the climate was suitable, with corn and soybean growth better than in previous years, per-mu yields stable and increasing, providing strong confidence for a good harvest.

To advance autumn production with high standards and quality, and firmly safeguard the bottom line of food security for the entire year, the county adheres to early deployment, early arrangement, and early implementation, refining measures and solidifying responsibilities. The County Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, closely aligning with the actual needs of autumn harvest, has organized agricultural technicians to go to the front lines, conducting roving field technical guidance, providing comprehensive technical services around key aspects such as soybean and corn harvest points, straw returning, grain drying and storage, and pest and disease prevention and control. At the same time, it closely monitors meteorological changes, timely issues weather warnings and farming reminders, and prepares contingency plans in advance for adverse weather such as rain and strong winds, minimizing autumn harvest losses caused by weather factors. Furthermore, it coordinates the deployment of over 7,700 various agricultural machinery units, optimizes machinery operation scheduling, unclogs cross-regional operation channels, and ensures adequate machinery supply and orderly operations. Four emergency service teams for autumn production have been established, equipped with 152 emergency machines, to effectively respond to sudden disastrous weather during the autumn period and solidly carry out agricultural machinery disaster prevention and relief work. The county's autumn grain sown area is 213,100 mu, with 191,300 mu already harvested, accounting for 89.79%; of this, corn sown area is 205,000 mu, with 184,500 mu harvested, accounting for 90%. As of now, the county's autumn crop harvest progress continues to accelerate, with soybean and corn autumn harvest work advancing efficiently, and the overall situation is stable and improving. The county will closely monitor the agricultural calendar progress, seize the golden period of autumn harvest, press ahead with various tasks in a staggered manner, accelerate the final stages of autumn harvest, and simultaneously prepare for autumn planting, making every effort to ensure that autumn grain returns to storage and autumn planting is carried out as needed, continuously consolidating the foundation of food security and promoting stable agricultural production, increased efficiency, and farmers' income growth.
