SMOORE INTL (06969) Reports Interim Results with Adjusted Profit of Approximately HK$757 Million, Up 2.6% Year-on-Year

SMOORE INTL (06969) has announced its interim results for 2026, with revenue reaching approximately HK$7.209 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.9%. Gross profit stood at about HK$2.322 billion, up 3.5% from the same period last year. Profit for the period amounted to roughly HK$572 million, reflecting a 16.2% increase, while adjusted profit for the period was approximately HK$757 million, marking a 2.6% year-on-year growth.

According to the company's announcement, the revenue growth was primarily driven by the sustained expansion of the group's ToB business, particularly its electronic atomization and HNB (heat-not-burn) segments. During the review period, the ToB business contributed approximately HK$5.910 billion in revenue, representing a year-on-year increase of about 24.7%.

The ToB business mainly encompasses the sale of electronic atomization products, HNB products, special-purpose atomization devices, as well as the provision of technical services related to atomized medical applications. Each of these business segments recorded revenue growth during the review period compared to the previous year.

The increase in profit for the period is mainly attributed to two key factors: (i) higher revenue generated from the business-to-business segment during the review period, driven primarily by income from heat-not-burn products and electronic atomization products; and (ii) a reduction in share-based payment expenses compared to the prior year, as the recognition periods for certain share-based payment arrangements gradually came to an end.
