At the Kuaishou Creator Conference held on August 29, Zhang Yifan, the head of live streaming business for Kuaishou-W (01024), revealed significant new initiatives aimed at empowering creators. Zhang stated that the platform remains firmly committed to its founding principle of supporting the inclusive growth of streamers, with enhanced resource allocation now being directed toward talented and emerging broadcasters.
Over the past year, Kuaishou's live streaming division has intensified its efforts to uplift quality streamers and newcomers alike. On a monthly basis, the company channels an additional 1.2 billion units of traffic toward premium broadcasters, while simultaneously dedicating 600 million units of traffic to support emerging talent. This strategic focus has yielded tangible results, driving a 20.6% year-on-year increase in average public domain exposure for new streamers.
Beyond traffic support, artificial intelligence has become an integral part of the broadcasting ecosystem. The AI streamer assistant feature, launched just six months ago, has already served over 500,000 hosts in their live sessions, processing an average of more than 180 million daily calls. Additionally, the "AI Vientiane" personalized effects, powered by Kling AI technology, generated over 6 million unique productions during the second quarter alone.
