Rising Share of Hydrogen and Energy Storage Investment

From January to August this year, investment in hydrogen energy and energy storage in Baotou grew by 15.4% and 300% year-on-year respectively, together driving a total investment increase of 8.3 percentage points. Investment in hydrogen energy and energy storage accounted for 52.9% of the city's new energy investment during the same period, up 39.6 percentage points from the same period last year.

Rapid Growth in Infrastructure Investment

From January to August, Baotou steadily advanced infrastructure investment in key areas, with infrastructure investment growing by 72.6% year-on-year, up 10.5 percentage points from January to July. Infrastructure investment accounted for 8.4% of total investment, up 1.3 percentage points from January to July, and infrastructure investment drove a total investment increase of 3.3 percentage points during the same period.
