Xiaomi Adds 3.80 Million-Share Buy-back Worth HKD 102.39 Million; Minor Share Scheme Allotment Lifts Class B Float to 21.34 Billion

On 17 July 2026, Xiaomi Corporation disclosed marginal changes to its share capital alongside continued progress on its authorised repurchase programme, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Share issuance under employee scheme • Xiaomi issued 103,200 Class B weighted voting right (WVR) ordinary shares on 16 July at HKD 2.33 each and a further 20,000 shares on 17 July at HKD 2.70 each. • The combined 123,200 new shares equate to approximately 0.0006 % of the preceding Class B share base. • Following these allotments, Xiaomi’s outstanding Class B share count rose to 21.34 billion.

Latest repurchase activity • On 17 July, the company bought back 3.80 million Class B shares on the Exchange at prices between HKD 26.88 and HKD 27.00, spending HKD 102.39 million. • These shares, earmarked for cancellation, are part of the mandate approved on 2 June 2026, which permits repurchases of up to 2.58 billion shares.

Cumulative buy-backs since 3 June 2026 • Total shares repurchased but not yet cancelled now stand at 83.63 million, representing 0.32 % of Xiaomi’s 25.79 billion total issued shares as at the mandate date. • Based on disclosed transaction prices, aggregate cash outlay for these repurchases amounts to approximately HKD 2.05 billion, implying an average repurchase price of about HKD 24.47 per share.

Issuance moratorium • In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Xiaomi is restricted from issuing, selling or transferring shares for 30 days following the latest repurchase, setting a moratorium period through 16 August 2026.

The filing confirms that all share issues and repurchases were authorised by the board and executed in compliance with Hong Kong Listing Rules and applicable regulations.
