Xingtai recently showcased its premium agricultural offerings at the National Famous, Special, New, and Superior Agricultural Products Matchmaking Event in Qingdao, Shandong. The city carefully selected standout items for the exhibition, including Julu millet, Xingquan jujube juice, and Xinhe lion's mane mushroom, spanning categories like grains, edible fungi, traditional Chinese medicine, and processed goods.
At the event, these Xingtai specialties drew significant attention from buyers. Hebei Xingquan Jujube Industry Co., Ltd. introduced a range of health-focused products such as sour jujube kernels and sour jujube bud tea, which garnered an enthusiastic market response. Meanwhile, the millet from Hebei Zhihai Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., known for its rich oil content and robust grain aroma, attracted interest from overseas buyers representing Dubai and Russia. Additionally, the lion's mane mushrooms presented by Hebei Huizhen Edible Fungi Co., Ltd. earned widespread recognition for their unique variety and superior quality.
Alongside these specialty items, Xingtai also brought 10 green, organic, and geographical indication-certified agricultural products to the expo. The event employed a hybrid approach, blending online and offline displays to build a platform for showcasing produce, facilitating trade discussions, and enabling resource sharing. This effectively streamlined the connection between production and sales, boosting industry growth, increasing enterprise profitability, and raising farmer incomes.
During the expo, Xingtai's agricultural sector secured seven intended cooperation agreements, with a combined projected value nearing 2.2 million yuan. In recent years, the city has ramped up efforts to tap into its unique regional agricultural resources, expanding the scale and efficiency of quality products. As a result, the brand clout and market recognition of Xingtai's offerings have strengthened steadily. To date, the city has been recognized for 26 national famous, special, new, and superior agricultural products, along with 26 specialty agricultural items, ranking 4th and 1st in the province, respectively. This achievement ensures a diverse, safe, and high-quality selection for consumers.
