Beijing Capital International Airport Company Limited (stock short name: Beijing Airport, stock code: 00694.HK) disclosed that it has submitted a formal application to the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (NAFMII) on 17 March 2026 for the following debt‐financing instruments in mainland China:

• Registration of medium-term notes (MTNs) of up to RMB4.00 billion, to be issued in multiple tranches. • Registration of short-term debentures (commercial paper, CP) of up to RMB4.00 billion, also to be issued in multiple tranches. • Issuance of the first tranche of MTNs in 2026 with a principal amount of RMB1.00 billion. • Issuance of the first tranche of CP in 2026 with a principal amount of RMB1.00 billion.

Both the 2026 First Tranche MTNs and CP will carry fixed coupon rates to be finalised through a centralised book-building process. According to the filing, proceeds from each tranche are earmarked for repayment of existing debt and replenishment of day-to-day working capital.

The draft prospectus for the programme has been posted on NAFMII’s website. Approval timelines remain uncertain, and the company indicated it will release further announcements upon receipt of regulatory clearance or if issuance terms differ from the current plan.

The board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities, as the proposed issuances may or may not proceed.
