Bahrain’s National Communication Centre stated in an email announcement that the country does not have a liquefied natural gas (LNG) refinery. The nation’s primary refining asset is Bapco Energies, which operates a crude oil refinery, and no such attack was observed at the facility today.
Earlier, Iran’s Fars News Agency reported that an LNG refinery in Bahrain, described as representing U.S. interests, had been targeted in a severe missile attack.
The report did not specify its source of information.
