Beijing is set to welcome a new world-class entertainment destination, featuring cutting-edge attractions and significant investment.

At a recent investment promotion conference for the sub-center's cultural tourism zone, four major projects were signed, totaling nearly 10 billion yuan in investment. These include the Mars Habitat Sci-Fi City and the Ferrari World Entertainment Complex, injecting fresh momentum into the area’s development as a high-end global tourism hub.

The Ferrari World Entertainment Complex promises an adrenaline-fueled experience, blending speed and excitement. It will feature the world’s fastest roller coaster, the Rossa Formula Coaster, alongside an e-sports park, a Ferrari museum, and an exclusive club. As the first Ferrari-themed entertainment complex in Asia, it is expected to attract 1.8 million visitors annually.

"Ferrari is a top-tier international brand," said Shen Tianyi, Chairman of China Professional International Investment Co. "This project will integrate cutting-edge design with Chinese cultural elements to create a globally themed entertainment park."

Meanwhile, the Mars Habitat Sci-Fi City will be China’s first immersive Mars-themed experience center, combining space education, interactive exhibits, and entertainment. The project includes VR simulations and drift experiences, with plans for related scriptwriting, gaming, and comic adaptations. Construction is set to begin early next year, with an expected opening in late 2028.

Additionally, strategic partnerships were announced for the "Fly to Sagittarius" launch camp, and the Cultural Tourism Zone’s digital platform was signed. The platform will streamline visitor services—covering dining, lodging, transportation, and entertainment—while optimizing traffic flow between key attractions like Universal Studios, "Wanli," Haichang Ocean Park, and Vertex Park.

This year, the sub-center’s cultural tourism zone has seen rapid development, including the relocation of the BTG Group headquarters, the launch of a sports center, and the trial operation of the North Ring Transport Hub. Three luxury hotels have also opened, with "Wanli" slated to debut by year-end.

According to Wang Yue, Director of the Sub-Center’s Industrial Promotion Department, these projects form a comprehensive tourism ecosystem, offering day-to-night entertainment and multi-day experiences. Future plans include enhancing the Xiao Taihou River waterway to create a vibrant corridor linking key cultural sites.

The cluster of new attractions is expected to significantly boost the zone’s appeal and stimulate fresh consumer demand.
