BASICSEMI (09971) has announced that on July 27, 2026, it entered into a lump-sum engineering procurement construction contract with China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Ltd. for a project. Under the agreement, the contractor will undertake the construction of the company's silicon carbide (SiC) module packaging production line base, with a total contract price of RMB 193.3 million.

The scope of the project involves constructing the production base located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Danzi Avenue and Cuijing Road in Pingshan District, Shenzhen. The group has already obtained state-owned construction land use rights for this site, and the contractor is responsible for the construction work.

The project's scale includes a total gross floor area of 59,357.54 square meters, spanning two buildings, which will house facilities such as a factory, offices, and dormitories along with supporting buildings.
