China Innovation Investment Limited issued a profit warning on 14 July 2026, advising shareholders that unaudited management accounts indicate a loss attributable to owners of about HK$61.00 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026.
The interim figure contrasts with a profit of roughly HK$23.00 million recorded in the first half of 2025, marking a negative swing of HK$84.00 million year on year.
Management attributes the downturn primarily to net investment losses stemming from heightened volatility in the Hong Kong equity market and weaker performance of the listed securities held by the company during the reporting period.
The financial data remain subject to review by the audit committee and external auditors. Finalised half-year results are scheduled for release on 24 August 2026.
China Innovation Investment cautioned shareholders and potential investors to exercise care when dealing in the company’s shares.
