The Xiqing District Market Supervision Administration in Tianjin recently organized a policy briefing session, with 23 local enterprises in attendance, to further standardize the management of exemptions from mandatory product certification, reinforce corporate accountability, and address application challenges.

The session focused on key aspects throughout the application, utilization, and cancellation processes for the CCC exemption, directly addressing common compliance issues identified in routine oversight such as irregular applications, incomplete record-keeping, and lax post-certification management. Detailed policy explanations and operational guidance were provided.

Officials clarified the core requirements for CCC exemption applications, detailing applicable scenarios, eligibility criteria, documentation standards, approval procedures, and prohibitive regulations. They outlined specific application standards for various exemption categories, including research and testing, sample exhibitions, and equipment matching, while correcting common misconceptions held by businesses.

Emphasizing closed-loop post-certification management within the CCC exemption system, the briefing covered critical points such as product entry registration, usage control, timely cancellation, record retention, and data traceability. Businesses were urged to ensure product traceability from source to destination, maintain controlled usage, achieve traceable cancellations, strengthen compliance awareness, and implement rigorous daily management. Specific queries from companies regarding cancellation deadlines, document archiving, and anomaly reporting were addressed individually.

Moving forward, the Xiqing District Market Supervision Administration plans to institutionalize policy briefings, on-site guidance, and compliance verification. The aim is to strictly regulate the use of exempted products, precisely meet enterprise needs to reduce burdens and enhance efficiency, continuously improve government services, and support high-quality industrial development in the district.
