Beijing Energy International Holding Co., Ltd. (BJ Energy Intl) reported that its 271 power plants—held directly and through associates—generated 6.28 million MWh of electricity in the first quarter of 2026, a 3.17 % year-on-year increase from 6.09 million MWh in the same period of 2025.

Generation from subsidiaries rose 3.67 % to 5.62 million MWh, while output from associate-owned facilities dipped 0.92 % to 0.66 million MWh. At 31 March 2026 the portfolio’s grid-connected installed capacity stood at 15.98 GW.

Geographically, Inner Mongolia (1.59 million MWh) and Yunnan (1.04 million MWh) remained the largest contributors, jointly accounting for 41.73 % of total group output. Other notable producing regions included Hebei, Jiangsu, Shanxi and Guangdong, with individual contributions ranging between 0.18 million MWh and 0.32 million MWh.

Capacity expansion supported the volume growth. During the quarter: • Existing plants added approximately 104 MW of grid-connected capacity. • New self-built projects—one wind farm, one energy-storage station and one gas-fired plant—contributed another 297 MW. • An acquired solar project added 294 MW.

Certain plants in Shanxi, Anhui and Xinjiang were reclassified from subsidiaries to associates after December 2025, affecting comparative figures.

Management emphasized that the disclosed data represent preliminary operating statistics and are not indicative of the company’s revenue or profit for the period.
