Today's Focus
From the main construction battleground to the forefront of production, major projects across the city are firing on all cylinders and advancing side by side, converging into a powerful momentum for the fourth-quarter final sprint. As of now, 7 provincial-level and 23 municipal-level major implementation projects have all commenced construction. From January to September, the investment completion rates of provincial and municipal major projects exceeded the scheduled progress by 19.1 and 14.8 percentage points respectively. The solid progress accumulated in the first three quarters has laid a firm foundation for the sprint toward the full-year target.
Autumn deepens, and the push intensifies. At the construction site of the Chongqi Road-Rail Yangtze River Bridge, tower cranes soar into the clouds, machinery roars ceaselessly, and workers are stepping up bridge deck ancillary installation work, with each procedure seamlessly and methodically connected. As a key controlling project of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu High-Speed Railway (the northern route of the Yangtze River coastal high-speed railway), the main bridge of the Chongqi Road-Rail Yangtze River Bridge has now surpassed 90% overall progress. Bridge deck ancillary installation is underway, including drainage pipes, inspection walkways, protective railings, railway anti-collision walls, highway guardrails, and inspection ladders. The next step will be a full transition into the ballastless track cushion layer construction phase.
