Cadre Holdings, Inc. (CDRE) experienced a significant 24-hour plunge of 6.61% in post-market trading on Tuesday, following the release of its fourth-quarter financial results.

The safety equipment maker reported quarterly results that fell short of analyst expectations across key metrics. The company posted Q4 earnings per share of $0.27, missing the consensus estimate of approximately $0.40. Revenue for the quarter was $167.2 million, below the estimated $182.9 million and representing a 5% decline year-over-year. Furthermore, adjusted EBITDA dropped 11% to $34.4 million, also missing expectations.

The company attributed the sales decline to higher-than-normal shipments in the prior-year period, which followed recovery efforts from a cyber incident in Q3 2024. Additionally, gross margin faced pressure from lower volumes and increased inventory step-up amortization. Despite providing full-year 2026 sales guidance that was above estimates, the weak quarterly performance and significant profit declines prompted the negative market reaction.
